I was in my aunt's house waiting for Harish(my ex) to pick me up my aunt and cousins did wanted me to go with Harish so they were delaying during that time when I made calls or texted him he was in car with his cousin sister Vidya Sree. Finally some how I managed to go out and I met Harish, he took me to what seemed like a 2 bedroom flat, maybe I was hoping/expecting intimacy until the end of the dream we didn't get intimate. So, in the dream I changed my cloths and put in shorts and then there was a wall and the entire wall was covered in water and it looked like a wall flat aquarium and if you lean against the water you'd get wet. I saw baby brown crab and tiny fishes. We were about to get intimate and Harish's sister and her husband came in she saw me I went to the room and changed my cloths while I was changing his parents came in too. His mother saw me and she was sweet to me asking me about my education and if id go abroad again to study to which I said I wouldn't be going as I felt lonley and I got dressed and went outside and I was waiting for Harish. Then Trishna came and went inside she is some how related to Harish's sister's husband side of the family. I waited at the stairs, Harish's sister came out and sat on the stairs her kids and some other kids were there. It somehow felt like a Sunday afternoon and sometime later Harish came out then I said it's getting late 8:30 so he came to walk me till the nearest bus stand. I said my good byes to them and me and Harish walked and he sent me off in a bus. Ps. In real life his family doesn't like me. In the Dream I saw there was some tolerance.
Dreams often reflect our subconscious thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and yours seems to highlight several themes, such as unresolved feelings regarding a past relationship, family dynamics, intimacy, and personal growth. Here’s a breakdown of some key elements in your dream:
Waiting for Harish: This could symbolize your feelings of anticipation regarding closure or resolution with your past relationship. It might also indicate feelings of being held back or delayed in moving forward in your life because of unresolved emotions.
Aunt's House: Your aunt's house might represent a familiar, comforting space or a refuge from the real-world complications surrounding your former relationship, suggesting a desire for support and acceptance from family.
Intimacy Expectations: The longing for intimacy with Harish juxtaposed with the ultimate lack of it in the dream can signify unfulfilled desires and expectations. This may reflect your emotional or physical longing for closeness, as well as your feelings of being thwarted or interrupted in pursuing that intimacy.
Wall of Water: Water often symbolizes emotion in dreams. A wall covered in water could represent emotional barriers—feelings that may not easily flow or be expressed. The baby brown crab and tiny fishes might symbolize vulnerability or potential for growth. The crab, in particular, could represent feeling defensive or needing to protect yourself emotionally.
Family Interactions: The presence of Harish's family, especially with moments of warmth and curiosity (like his mother asking about your education), contrasts with the reality that they may not approve of you. This could reflect your hopes for acceptance and connection, or the tension you perceive. The interactions could represent your desire for integration into family life or acceptance of that past relationship.
Changing clothes: This act signifies a transformation or a need to present a different aspect of yourself. It could symbolize your desire to be seen differently or to step into a new identity. Changing into shorts, a more casual attire, might suggest a longing for ease and comfort.
Ending with a bus ride: The bus could represent a journey or transition, suggesting you're moving forward in life. The time, "8:30", might symbolize a deadline or a time limit, indicating that while you are moving on, there are still feelings, thoughts, or healing processes you may need to address.
Overall, this dream seems to navigate your feelings about Harish, your relationships with family (both your own and his), and the tensions and emotions related to intimacy and acceptance. It may suggest a need to reconcile these feelings and, possibly, work towards self-acceptance and healing from this past relationship. Reflecting on how these themes resonate with your current life circumstances may offer deeper insights into your emotional landscape.
